TrackStudio 2.5 beta2 has been released. This is minor bugfix release and also supports WebSphere and MySQL (with InnoDB). We also offer TrackStudio 2.5 Standalone - very easy to install and configure with Swing-based Server Manager.

1) Download 90-day trial

We supply precompiled JSP with SA version that can be run on Jetty, Tomcat, JBoss and Resin. If you use Weblogic, WebSphere or JRun - please download TrackStudioEnterprise-25b2.zip.

For SA version you can edit config and start server/database with Server Manager (sman) or manually.

2) Edit etc/trackstudio.*.properties, please ensure that upload directory exists and siteURL correct.

3) Create database from script in sql. Please refer http://www.trackstudio.com/documentation.html for more info

4) Start your application server with -Dtrackstudio.Home=<path to
directory with .properties>

5) Deploy .war

6) Login as root/root

Also, you can add properties files to WEB-INF directory of war (you should not use trackstudio.Home this way).

If you can test our application with (but not only) Sun ONE - please notify us about your experience.

When I try to run a report, I get the following exception:

Suggestions as to what I might have misconfigured?

What JDK and tomcat4 version do you use ?
Please try add xalan.jar and xerces.jar to WEB-INF/lib
