A really useful enhancement to filters would be the ability to flag a field as "easy set" in the filter definition.

When that filter is applied a drop down list is available in the Filter Parameters area able to filter to a single value of that field. Clear for all values (default situation).

For different States it is practical to set up different filters for the selections frequently used. But this new facility would be invaluable for filtering to a single assignee or a single milestone. I know it can be done within existing "Filter Parameters", but there are many clicks and choosing from long lists to achieve a simple and frequently needed filter.

Honestly I didn't catch your idea. I think you asked to add conditions 'OR' in filters, didn't you?

New filters would be "AND" (reduce the number of records displaying)

Filters are defined in filter maintenance by identifying a field for easy-set

At run time the easy-set filters show in parameters panel. Default is "all" where it has not effect. If a single option is chosen (an Assignee or a Milestone in my example) then the results are additionally (AND) filtered to that single Assignee and/or Milestone)
