We now have quite a list of filters (I note one user has 700, we a not that flamboyant).
Some are for filtering the list of displayed tasks
Some are for reports
Some are for e-mail notifications
In the user page all the public filters are displayed, which list now goes off the page and is quite user-unfriendly.

Please can there be a flag on filter definition to display (or hide) from the user page.

Hello.
First of all you can set flag to show this filter on toolbar. Then you can make group of filters. You need to change name of filter like this - group_name/filter_name
After that all filter will be grouped on this group.
For example
Report/All user
Report/I notify
Report/Admin alert

That's neat. A menu appears on the tool bar for the group.
